    I have managed IT operations at headquarters in Connecticut with data centers in 3 cities supporting this high growth technology company. Project Management - I designed the SAN for our principle office and managed the implementation of the infrastructure for our satellite scheduling and financial system (3-tier architecture. International IT operations management - I managed support for remote offices since 1996. I negotiated support agreements with local support vendors in London, Tokyo, Sydney, Washington DC, and South Africa to make sure employees had the support they needed to carry on the business with minimal downtime. PanAmSat was purchased by Intelsat in 2006. PanAmSat was purchased and merged with a unit of Hughes Electronics in 1997. Hughes Electronics was owned by General Motors. Much of the corporate governance / policies cascaded from GM and Hughes to PanAmSat.
